It was the featured flower of my best friend's wedding several years ago.

I like the pollen all over the petals.

Beware the Eyes of Penny

I was home for a few days where my mother and sister carefully control the cat "traffic" in the household so as not to disturb Penny's mood too much when she comes across one of the newer cats to take residence there.

I took this picture some time ago, but her attitude hasn't changed. In her previous life, she was a ruthless queen beheading anyone who looked at her the wrong way.
