Self Portrait 1

Experimenting with the computer as a light source, it emits the perfect illumination to get that "white out" look of some of my favorite photos of people. It brings out very specific detail and coloring. I really enjoy what people post for their MSN display pics; it's a such an interesting form of personal expression.

First Nice Color Portrait With Filter

This is my beautiful mother and this was taken at Balls Falls using a champagne filter and steadying myself on my elbows while lying on my stomach on the rocks. The lighting on the right side could have been better to bring out her features more, but overall a good start to portraiture I think.
